I would say that Dragged Across Concrete contains the best dialogue of any film released this year, continuously hilarious and dramatic. It obviously makes no attempt to mimic realism (more similar to James Ellroy hard-boiled pulp fiction or 70s cop movies than anything approaching how people in the real world speak).
Dragged Across Concrete is a fantastic movie. Wondering what peoples thoughts are on this movie I watched it recently and although I did like Brawl in Cell Block 99 and especially Bone Tomahawk I definitely found that they felt a bit longer than they were and dragged (haha) on a bit for me.
