Going up their line, The Elites do step it up, and in terms of technical performance, and they were noticeably better than my Elex being about on par with the 2021 lcdx that I heard, and a tad behind the Arya. Soundstage wise, the Elites were not too different from the Empyrean but the imaging was a good bit tighter.
Nov 30, 2023 · The main difference between the Elite and Empyrean 2 are, in my opinion, the staging. The Elite seems more expansive than Empyrean 2, though not by a lot. It offers a similar type of staging, with the sounds wrapping around your head, however it seems like there is more space around the listener and in between instruments and sound.
