Overall you can see a noticeable step up in quality and I think the show is going in a direction that has a lot more hart than the "dark season" of Family Guy. I think the first episode of season 21 was overall a huge disappointment especially going off of season 20 which I think was the closest Family Guy had gotten to those season 4-8 vibes we all knew and loved.

Family guy is consistent enough to never fully be bad. It's in its 20th+ season, it's allowed to experiment and try newer things. im on s11 and im noticing im not laughing a lot like i used to but its still not all bad. The themed episodes with three stories are really boring with the occasional funny bit.
