  8. Anything past 1.20.1, do not count on it. It really sounds like 1.20.1 limited support for NeoForge and 1.20.4+ is full on NeoForge. Neoforge tried to maintain compatibility with Forge through 1.20.1. In 1.20.2+ they have made breaking changes so mods will have to specifically support it.
