For years, Ben Horsley was the face of the Granite School District as its director of communications and community outreach. He was often quoted in news stories about Granite.

Sep 10, 2024 · That was before he was appointed Granite School District superintendent on July 9. He replaced former Supt. Rich Nye who was named senior education adviser in Gov. Spencer Cox’s administration. Horsley has worked 15 years with Granite District, including becoming the first chief of staff, serving to Nye the past three years.
