There is a very real chance that just like how Halo Anniversary Edition wrongly remastered graphical effects to resemble the broken ones in the PC port, GTA SA remake developers will end up mimicking the version of the game they have ready access to -- which is this version.
Aesthetic - What made San Andreas so spectacular was its Aesthetic, and honestly in the remaster a good majority of it is gone. In the main menus there was stylised lettering and interesting set pieces to keep it with the style of the game, and it was great.

There are videos on modding GTA SA on justGesha and TJGM YouTube channels. I recommend people to watch those if they want to experience GTA SA again. I am currently in the process of a play through with mods.
