  7. My personal favorite, the second book in the series, is just a little bit more difficult than the first one when it comes to the Harry Potter reading level. Sitting at 940L on the Lexical Scale , it is an equally adequate read for most 2nd and 3rd graders and with 251 pages of action-packed adventures in the magical world, it is a book that’s clearly hard to put down.
