It is meant to be a children’s series so the first few books are quite easy. I think as the topics get darker, the language becomes slightly more difficult. Book four is where is starts to a little and then book five is when it takes off a bit more. The final book was far more difficult when you compare it to the first one.

Hedwig’s death was the first time I cried reading a book. The battle of Hogwarts is SO GOOD, and Harry’s internal dialogue going into the forest is heartbreaking. I also love to see my fav character Ron get his time to shine. Prisoner of Azkaban - “Cat Rat and Dog” through “The Dementor’s Kiss” is absolute peak Harry Potter.
