Higher Lonely Power blends alt rock, punk and emo in a sound that's meant to be blasted on loudspeakers, almost U2-ish in that way. But in the end, it's yet another generic indie punkrock release that, asides from its anti-religious message, doesn't make much use of its 43 minute runtime to make songs stand out from the rest.
