Illumination is garbage and is hands down the worst mainstream animation studio alongside Sony Animation.
Illumination is the most lucrative animation studio in the world. Period. Kids love Minions and all their movies. Period. The fact that some redditors don't like them isn't a reason for them to change anything. They will continue for years.
They make movies that are 100% focus tested and safe, so there's nothing "offensive", dark, or risky in them. I do think their animation is good (even though they don't change styles, but that goes back to the 'being safe' thing).
