If your grade is very low already I’d just drop it. It better to drop the class than fail. That way it doesn’t show on your gpa. If you need to next semester you could retake the class but for now study what material you have on your own therefore it might make more sense the next semester.

In fact, even if it was, it's okay to miss a few lectures to take care of other business if you need to, but don't let it become a habit for miniscule reasons. 204.
