Furthermore, those symbols have very specific rules on when and how they can be used. Written language can be very fluid and sometimes ambiguous. The language math uses is very specific and defined. Math is just a means to communicate something using a different set of symbols than those in written languages.
As someone with an engineering degree and has taken quantum physics, differential equations, vector calc, etc…math is actually just hard. Even if you are good at math, I guarantee there is a point where you start to struggle to understand something. For me it was convolution and 5th dimensional polar shape analysis ( vector calc).
