But even with a lot of upgrades, I find Minecraft to be boring and a waste of time. There’s really no objective or end of game. I’d rather build Legos with my kids then play that game. Minecraft videos are no longer interesting. And there’s not even esports to keep it interesting. Minecraft had its moment but it’s over.
Minecraft is older than the average player. Generations of Players have found minecraft, played the living crap out of it and got bored of it. The only difference between now and then is that the people who get bored now are still active in the subs while those that got bored years ago, aren't.
The game itself isn't repetitive and boring, the way you play it is. I found out that in order to have fun in Minecraft you need to have a set goal that you'll work for. For example, your initial goal when you start the game is to beat the dragon. After that, you can challenge yourself and set yourself a long term goal to strive to.

Nov 18, 2023 · I also think Minecraft is boring. Not enough good updates, and no motivation to continue playing. I feel like the should have abandoned the game before the 1.12 update, and started work on something else. It can be "fun" if your playing with friends, but it's usually extremely boring.
