I personally think that Minecraft is pointless and boring. But i know a lot of people enjoy it due to its ability for creative building. I just like fps games and uninstalled Minecraft in the first 10 mins.

I saw someone suggest playing like it’s a roguelike. Find a place you’d like to set up base and set your spawn there. Make it so you don’t lose your inventory when you die. Now just pick a direction and explore/gather/mine until you die. Now use whatever you found to start on your base. When you’re ready head out again for more supplies.
Nov 18, 2023 · I feel like the should have abandoned the game before the 1.12 update, and started work on something else. It can be "fun" if your playing with friends, but it's usually extremely boring. Plus, the launcher is garbage and I cant even get the game to run most of the time.

The game itself isn't repetitive and boring, the way you play it is. I found out that in order to have fun in Minecraft you need to have a set goal that you'll work for. For example, your initial goal when you start the game is to beat the dragon.
