imho the bees and warden update probably ruined it, like most previous updates made the game more fun, but now, they are adding wardens (completely useless tbh, overpowered and overrated, the only good thing from the bees update was the honeyblock, which was only useful for redstone, which not everyone uses. i feel that they are adding updatess to keep people excited, but have ran out of ideas.

Minecraft is boring now. I've come to realize that after so much time playing minecraft, whether it be creative, survival or on a server, it's just boring now. I dont know why but everytime I play solo I only play for 1 hour max before getting bored, with a friend I might play for hours, but usually never getting back on.

A lot of the fun in Minecraft is coming up with your own methods of dealing with the challenges it throws at you. But this is not how most people play the game - the game is solved, its progression has been fully reduced into its most efficient method.
