Prime 4U when the free dlc was still coming out was so goated. And even way after generations came out so many people played 4U. Hella lobbies, everyone was nice and helped each other out in turns, sharing guild cards, endgame grinding in the everwood for insane weapons and armor, you’d see the occasional super hacked quest and be faced with the biggest moral dilemma of ur life.

A side note though, the Monster is run off the first player that see's it. If a player with a crappy connection see's it first you may encounter a few glitches.

Imo it's the best game to enter the franchise, even today. It's sitting perfectly well between oldschool and newschool. If you like that game, good chances are you gonna like the older ones aswell as the newer ones. And when you start with 4U, playing the older games afterwards (like Freedom Unite for exemple) is a lot easier (easier to get into).
MHGU: It has almost every monster + new ones like Narkarkos, Bloodbath Diablos and Valtrax. It has ton of good quests but some quests are really bad. MH3U: It's a classic. I enjoy being wet. MHR: Good game and for a base game amazing. I personally dont like some changes and despise everything besides movement about the wirebugs.
