My review for 2001's, Mulholland Drive. Thanks for watching! My review for Dark City: https://youtu.be/T5Igf1HHrMsMKD58 Media Store: https://www.mkd58mediast...
This movie has had multiple interpretations of the plot but the main one that i agree on is this 20 min vid explaining the film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvgRLTP3U5Y. If you honestly feel like you want to appreciate the film, watch this film.
The real answer is trying to rank things is a waste of time. I know the films I like don’t always stay static and unshakeable. I might feel Mulholland Drive is the best on one day and the next day be feeling Kung Fu Hustle. Like what you like and don’t bother with writing up a list.
Mulholland Drive is definitely worth watching just to see and try and figure out all the metaphors that DL is trying to portray. But then I watched this person's take on the movie (hint it takes over an hour to explain) and I realized that I hadn't even scratched the surface of what this critic believed is happening in the movie.

But is the film worth watching, or worth trying to figure out? That depends on your tastes, obviously. On a surface level, the film is certainly attractive if you are a fan of surrealism, although it will tend to seem a bit slow and overly disjointed to some viewers.
