The world of Mulholland Drive is so intriguing that I can't help but wonder what dark pathways we would have been lead down over the course of a full series. I love the film, but it definitely shows the seams from its conversion from a pilot episode.

I get more from Mulholland Drive every time I see it. I thought I had a handle on it years ago but it works on multiple levels. I think there are key things you need to get the maximum out of it. Some awareness of the golden age of Hollywood, especially 'Sunset Boulevard' & the dark side of Hollywood. Also some grasp of Jung & Freudian theories.
