It's definitely influenced, but you really wanna see the whole film before saying it's Mulholland Drive: The Series. Mulholland Drive has some seriously weird supernatural shit in it that would be out of place in Season 1, let alone Season 2.
The world of Mulholland Drive is so intriguing that I can't help but wonder what dark pathways we would have been lead down over the course of a full series. I love the film, but it definitely shows the seams from its conversion from a pilot episode.
