The Oratory Preparatory School has been co-educational for nearly 50 years, and since the first girls joined in 1970, the school has gone from strength to strength as a result. The ethos of well-rounded, broad-minded and inclusive learning lies at the core of the school, and as part of this is a dedication to preparing our children for life beyond education as best as possible.
Boarding is an integral part of school life at The Oratory Prep School. The boarding house, situated on the first floor of the main house, caters for up to 50 boarders. There are seven boys’ dormitories and four girls’ dormitories. Children have the option of either Full-time, Weekly or Flexible boarding, to suit individual family needs.
It is a Roman Catholic school, open to all faiths and none. The school has a non-selective admissions policy. It is a standalone prep school, not tied to any one senior school, and is a member of the Bellevue Education group. The Oratory Preparatory School fees range from £4,125 +VAT (Rec) to £7,100 +VAT per term (2024/25).
