1.9+ : 1.9 pvp is different from 1.8 because your goal is now to hit and not be hit! Shields are the most important items besides swords because they allow you to block attacks. 1.9 is strictly resource based pvp meaning its about best using the things you have.

Jan 29, 2021 · I created this thread to invite everyone to list strategies/tricks that great Minecraft players use to gain the edge in a duel. For 8 years, I've been PvPing by clicking at 8-9 cps with just normal clicking and not using any movement tricks except strafing.
