"Pups Stop an Xtreme Shark" is the second segment of the 12th episode in Season 8 of PAW Patrol.
Daring Danny X and Alex motorboat out to Junk Island in search of something for Danny's next stunt. They spot Mayor Humdinger's old shark submarine and decide to make some upgrades. Meanwhile, both the PAW Patrol and the Kitten Catastrophe Crew are trying to relax on Adventure Bay Beach. Danny, his work on the shark sub done, prepares to jump it over Adventure Bay Bridge, where Alex is waiting to record the exploit. However, the rocket engine and wheel equipped sub soon ends up racing down the streets of Adventure Bay with Danny unable to stop it.
After Mr. Porter ends up being picked up by the sub, Mayor Goodway-who is driving a tour bus-puts in a call to the PAW Patrol for help. Ryder promptly calls the pups to the lookout, with Marshall tripping on a bucket of bait Skye has been using to feed fish. Chase is called upon to halt the shark with his net, while Rocky is tasked with stopping the bizarre contraption from working. Ryder and the pups soon catch up to the shark, which Mayor Goodway is continuing to pursue in her bus.
Unfortunately, Chase's net, rather than stopping the shark, causes it to go back in the direction from which it came. It's soon closing in on Ms. Marjorie, who due to listening to music on her headphones is unaware of anything going on around her. In order to save her from a banana peel, Danny picks her up and then drives out onto the beach. Spotting a fishing rod Humdinger's kittens were using earlier, Ryder is inspired to summon Skye and have her bring Rubble's electromagnet. She manages to catch the shark before it launches into the bay, but its passengers end up dangling over the beach with Skye unable to land safely.
Rocky provides the solution, pulling a trampoline out of his truck and positioning it beneath the shark. With everyone safe, Ryder asks Skye to fly the shark back to Junk Island, though in the process Mayor Humdinger is startled out of his yoga routine.
