The downside is that I haven't seen any real support from the team to make improvements or patches to broken things but I am still hopeful. You can play Ark mobile and have a better time than PixArk on the PC. And for free. To preface, I love Ark. Mostly. It has the makings of an absolutely great game.

There’s also overhaul mods for when you finish vanilla and other additional creature mods. I’m not sure about Pixark’s modding community. Ark survival Ascended (ASA) is a lot better than ASE in terms of building and it’s hard to compare to pixark since they are so different. I think inherently blocks are a lot easier to build with.

Mar 30, 2017 · PixARK realises a lot of things in a good way, some even better than ARK: Survival Evolved. Even, if the basic gameplay is nearly the same, the characters in PixARK are far more likable, atmosphere and soundtrack are more intense and the pixel-optic creates surprisingly detailed dinosaurs.
