The downside is that I haven't seen any real support from the team to make improvements or patches to broken things but I am still hopeful. You can play Ark mobile and have a better time than PixArk on the PC. And for free. To preface, I love Ark. Mostly. It has the makings of an absolutely great game.
Apr 10, 2018 · I played ARK mostly in PVE and so I did so far in Pixark. Keeping that in mind here is what I think about the game compared to the "real" ARK: Pros: - feeling at home from the first minute - the possibility to "terraform" is AWESOME and is so much missing in the real ARK - graphics are "ok" for a minecraft style game, audio is also nice.
Honestly it feels easier to die in pixark than in ark. There aren't color variations in pixark yet and I haven't had the chance to test if there is breeding or stat differences. Honestly going into pixark thinking "this is like ark" isn't the right mindset. It's seriously a game where somebody took ark's branding and made a totally different ...
Mar 31, 2018 · Solid 60 FPS or solid 186 fps when FPS is unlocked at max settings, minus dynamic tesselation. Ark with all settings maxed, minus dynamic tesselation, runs at 60-45 depending on the situation. So, this runs better. Official servers are having the same problem that ARK had at launch and DnL did, Desync/ruberbanding.
Mar 30, 2018 · Any server with more than 3 people has over 100 ping, spikes, or some other laggy ♥♥♥♥. So far, though, I love the concept of the game. I would reccomend if the servers were decent.
I just put my review up on steam and I did compare the two. I compared PixARK to how ARK was during its first year and honestly PixARK has a lot more content and a ton less bugs than ARK did its first year. I personally feel that these games overall suit two different players.
