The downside is that I haven't seen any real support from the team to make improvements or patches to broken things but I am still hopeful. You can play Ark mobile and have a better time than PixArk on the PC. And for free. To preface, I love Ark. Mostly. It has the makings of an absolutely great game.
Jan 10, 2020 · Ark is far better. Pixark was unfortunately a chinese cash grab leeching off arks success. Pixark balance is garbage and you basically have to reprogram the entire game to get it to play properly. If you want a voxel game, just get/play Minecraft. #9.
Honestly it feels easier to die in pixark than in ark. There aren't color variations in pixark yet and I haven't had the chance to test if there is breeding or stat differences. I personally feel that these games overall suit two different players. Coming from PC, I think Ark SE has it’s aggressive and chaotic PvP option, whereas PixArk has its own PvE discover the world feeling. I’m not saying either is/isn’t PvP or PvE, but that’s how I’ve felt since day 1 with each game.
