At my dealership cost difference is about $3,000 which doesn’t make or break me but isn’t pennies either. My intended use is 80% farm, 20% trails. Have 2 young passengers so no intense trail riding.
Jun 18, 2023 · June 18, 2023. The Polaris General is one of the longest-serving rec-ute machines on the market, and its easy to see why it has been around so long. It’s fantastic. From interior comfort to capability and speed, the General ticks an awful lot of boxes, and it’s still a relative bargain. But nothing is perfect, and the General is no exception.
The General XP 1000 is a fairly large machine, with a confident footprint. Measuring in at 64” wide and sitting on 15” aluminum wheels wrapped in 30″ (8 ply) Pro Armor Crawler XG tires, the General hints of aggressiveness without boasting. The factory doors feel quality upon entry and the interior is roomy and accommodating.

Jul 16, 2021 · Of course, it doesn’t just stop with amazing suspension. The General XP Deluxe also rolls on massive 30-inch Pro Armor Crawler XG tires wrapped around 15-inch, painted aluminum wheels. With the arched a-arms and taller tires, ground clearance is an outstanding 13.5 inches, making any trail obstacle you’d run into much easier to overcome.
