Mar 8, 2012 · It's not just that they aren't providing a Windows installer, they aren't providing any binary installers. It looks like only releases 3.9 and following have binaries. Python 3.8 no longer receives bug fixes, only security fixes. This is one way to encourage you to upgrade to a version that is more fully supported.
