Go with this option if you want to be unique. Ranger, a class focused on sheer bullet speed and distance. It's actually an insufferable class later on, due to weapon focus end game not really being a thing, and has pretty low DPS over all. Go with this option if you want longer battles- wars of attrition. Mage, the most improved class overall.
Havent played ranger in calamity but heres some benefits. Ranger has a fairly stable progression with average defense and literally average dps, the weapons look cool tho. Mage, very cracked dps throughout the game but also very low defense. Prepare to have a 3000€ pc or you will lag alot from the weapons.
Currently playing a master mode + Revengeance Play-through with a couple of people, i'm playing ranger and we are are up to pre Yharon. Need a bit of guidance on what accessories and weapons to use. Normally I would default to the wiki or a video but some of the stuff in the videos I watch and the wiki suggest are a bit strange with some significant damage drops from what I was previously using.
Sep 8, 2022 · Yes, Ranger is one of the strongest classes if built correctly. The class itself revolves a lot around movement so if you can't dodge the attacks, Ranger isn't going to feel good for you and I suggest swapping to melee.
