Edit: After a bit more testing - BF2024, Cyberpunk, Escape from Tarkov - I'm finding THX Spatial Audio is giving me overall a better experience than DTS Headphone: X. Again, I don't know if it's as easy as assuming that I've got Razer headphones, and using a Razer-based App, so there's a level of bias there.
I am now using the PC Dolby Spatial app. I use it with surround off, because I need to hear footsteps and it sounds great. And Warzone audio is built on stereo sound anyway. For other games, I may use surround mode, for non FPS games. For Razer THX, for some games, it may be useful. It just depends on the game maker.
