  3. Sleepers (1996) was just a great movie in every way. It wasn't the most family friendly but damn, it was riveting. Put together a great story that brings you right in from the beginning and a great cast (Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Bacon, Brad Pitt as some of the big names) and it's a great recipe for entertainment.

  4. It’s just hard to get to that place. It's one of the best 90s films that flew under the radar in terms of mainstream. Granted, the subject matter is pretty dark, but damn does it deliver in the second half. Gotta love the vengeance scene where the abused boys, now hardened criminals, meet Kevin Bacon in the bar.
