furthermore there are just so many more systems and additions going in 3, like combos, nose/tailpresses, monsters, style bonuses, lvl1 vs lvl2 ubers, rail ubers, handplants. high level gameplay in ssx 3 is so much more in-depth than it is in tricky. i prefer all of this, with the difficulty of things like maintaining combos, over "having to memorize the length of ubers" - its a much more live ...
It’s even better on Xbox Series X. Super outta the way, but the elite 2 controller for xbox let's you remap all buttons (including all four shoulders) and the added paddles help a ton with tweaking everything to your comfort (I came from SSX 3 on the Gamecube so the learning curve was... Different :P). After setting the in-game control scheme ...
I would pay full price for the 4 PS2 games in one package on PC. Proper modern support with SSX 3 or on tour controls for all the games. Have a toggle like the tomb raider game to switch between new and old graphics. The THPS1+2 remake was brilliant (desperately waiting on thps3+4 to be remade). The same treatment for SSX would be a dream come ...

I would normally include a plot section for a game, but frankly SSX 3 doesn’t have one. In fact, the only game in the series to have something resembling a plot would be SSX (2012). But let’s leave that nightmare for another day, shall we? One of the things that draws me to SSX 3 is the cast of characters. While every sports game typically has thei...
SSX 3 is a beautiful game. As I’ve stated time and time again, stylized games hold up much better than games that look to be realistic. Even without considering the fact that this game was released in 2003, SSX 3‘s visual presentation still holds up against the odds. While I cannot testify for the PS2 version, the game looks great when paired with ...
While some would argue that SSX: Tricky and SSX: On Tour are better games for their own reasons, SSX 3 is the superior game for players looking to get something different out of their dose of snowboarding action. It provides players with great backcountry snowboarding, as well as over-the-top UBER Tricks that no one could dream of pulling off in re...
May 5, 2018 · Three years on, EA Canada pushed the formula to its zenith with SSX3, and it's an experience that's now even more special thanks to a new, enhanced iteration for Xbox One and Xbox One X owners ...
SSX 3 isn't discussed as much as its predecessor in the modern day, and that's a shame because there's enough adoration to go around. Luckily, though, there's nothing missing from this game that was there upon its release in 2003; it remains one of the greatest snowboarding games of all time and a shining example to modern-day titles as to what the potential of the sports genre truly is.
