The school prepared me well and got me multiple medical school acceptances. Yes, its a commuter school and it is what you make of it, and yes, I remember parking being difficult. But the overall atmosphere is fairly academic and St. Johns has enough pedigree and academic punch to get you into any top graduate program.

For sure! It's still a solid school, you find people in biglaw from st. johns. I think NYC schools in particular often outperform for biglaw, so if you get into St. Johns and other simialrly ranked schools, I personally would take St. Johns in a heartbeat.

St. John’s-Ravenscourt School was founded in 1820 principally to serve the children of the Selkirk settlers. By 1834 there were forty students, evenly split between boys and girls. SJR has inevitably grown and changed over the years since, though its success throughout has been unimpeachable. Today the programs are as strong as our reputation.
