Hulu final deadline extended to Oct 30 and Netflix looses SG1 on Nov30 2021. Hulu renewed them from the original September deadline for a short time but as of today, Oct 21st, all episodes say 11 days remaining. Netflix is also listing SG1 in their November 2021 drop list for the 30th.
Licensing deals with various streamers and broadcast outlets deal from country to country. So even after the Amazon-MGM deal closes (it's looking like the first half of 2022 at this point), Amazon will have to wait out each of those individual licenses before it can move the shows to Prime exclusively.
Sep 2, 2022 · Stargate fans around the world might be buzzing, as it has now been announced that all three of the shows have now returned to streaming. Amazon effectively acquired Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 2021, and that deal has been finalized. MGM owned the rights to the Stargate franchise, leaving Amazon with ownership of everything under the MGM banner.

SG-1, SGA and SGU Are Back in Amazon Prime (US) I just finished binge watching SG-1 via Netflix and SGA in ad-supported Pluto-TV when I noticed all 3 series are available again in Amazon Prime (US location at least). No luck on the 2 movies yet but they are both available in Pluto-TV as well with ads of course. comments.
