  4. Hello, I'm interested in these boots and had a couple questions I was hoping people could answer before I lock in my purchase: Are either the Pro or Academy versions' uppers waterproof? Does the Academy version's "multiground" sole plate actually make a difference?

I have had many pro version of Nike boots over the years and have always been impressed with the quality. Elite are often too expensive for me, but always worth looking for bargains. 1.
