I absolutely couldn’t be happier with the boot for the price. I tried on the new phantoms and superfly 9s and if I went in blind, I’d choose the pumas every time. They feel like, if not better than a $250 boot.
The academy is only sold in one version-MG (multi ground) and is significantly lower quality than the pro version which is sold with both an AG-pro sole plate and an FG sole plate. If you are playing on AG, I would strongly suggest the AG-pro plate mercurial vapor pros or Superfly vi pro with the AG plate. 3. Award.
Hello, I'm interested in these boots and had a couple questions I was hoping people could answer before I lock in my purchase: Are either the Pro or Academy versions' uppers waterproof? Does the Academy version's "multiground" sole plate actually make a difference?
