Hello, I'm interested in these boots and had a couple questions I was hoping people could answer before I lock in my purchase: Are either the Pro or Academy versions' uppers waterproof? Does the Academy version's "multiground" sole plate actually make a difference?

The Superfly 9 academy fits true to length, same as the Pro, but much bigger in the mid-foot, where the Pro is more snug. Length wise I think you will be happy. Overall the Superfly 9 academy is a very big boot, it has a lot more volume than all the other mercurials.
