  5. Superman For All Seasons is very accessible. It’s set at the beginning of him becoming Superman, and is very accessible (and great). I read it earlier this year and didn’t have any issues and I don’t really have extensive background on the character. For All Seasons is a great story, one of my favorite retellings of his origin.

  6. For All Seasons was an excellent take on the classic elements that make Superman, well, Superman. But what this story does SO well is capture Clark Kent, his parents, and Smallville. I've always preferred the small town, down to Earth, Clark Kent stories over the big galactic Superman adventures.
