Is it worth getting an Atari 2600 in my collection? [Discussion] I came across an original Atari VCS at a flea market last weekend and I wasn't sure if I should get one. I think it is a cool piece of history, but the games just don't draw my attention for more than 5-10 minutes.

I'm sure Atari is in no position to price it any cheaper, but for everyday folks who aren't diehard Atari fans the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series S, and PS5 Digital are all a far better value. However, ignoring the price point, the VCS console is a great piece of hardware.
