Bennington Museum and art gallery, next to Old first Church which has Robert Frost's grave. Nearby in Shaftsbury is the Robert Frost Museum. North Bennington has the Park-McCullough Governor's Mansion, with mile-around woods (closed this week, open on the 28th June) being a nice place for a walk.

Over 20 years later, I recently paid a visit to the Bennington Museum, which is located on the west side of town near the Bennington Monument. Upon entering the museum, the gift shop and small cafe is straight ahead where admission is paid, admission (in 2/10) is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors and students over 18, and FREE for students under 18.
