Nov 30, 2023 · The Empyrean 2 isn’t a particularly demanding pair of headphones, so you could easily get away with something much less flamboyant in order to make them sound good. However, I just feel like this pair deserves that extra push when it comes to power. Meze Empyrean 2 have an impedance of 32 Ohms, with a sensitivity of about 105dB.
Jan 16, 2024 · In the Empyrean II Meze have clearly produced a design capable of extreme clarity, amazing neutrality and fine spaciousness. This is a well-designed and superbly engineered headphone that should be high on the audition list for anyone looking in this price bracket; it’s a top-level headphone in so many ways.
Nov 8, 2023 · In terms of looks, the Empyrean 2 again is a gorgeous headphone with a lovely design, incorporating unique features. On first glance it resembles the Empyrean and ELITE headphone but there are some refined differences. The headband system still is the same one and it has the carbon frame and leather headband.

Dec 6, 2023 · It still retains a good note fundamental though so the bass depth and power are most noticeable with these pads. The mids timbre is where the neutral to natural comes into play. More so on the lower mids up to around 2-3k where you get less of a bleed down from the stronger treble response on the new Empyrean II tuning.
