While there are areas that we would like to see improved there is no denying that these are charming company. Nov 30, 2023 · Meze Empyrean II. Pros: The best Meze headphone to date. Natural, fun, emotional sound. Dynamic and plentiful, but not overdone bass. Lush, rich, smooth midrange. Great dynamics in the treble without an ounce of sibilance. Satisfying detail and accurate imaging. Top-of-the-line design, comfort, accessories and build quality.
Nov 8, 2023 · In terms of looks, the Empyrean 2 again is a gorgeous headphone with a lovely design, incorporating unique features. On first glance it resembles the Empyrean and ELITE headphone but there are some refined differences. The headband system still is the same one and it has the carbon frame and leather headband.

Apr 29, 2024 · The Empyrean 2 isn’t a particularly demanding pair of headphones, so you could easily get away with something much less flamboyant in order to make them sound good. However, I just feel like this pair deserves that extra push when it comes to power. Meze Empyrean 2 have an impedance of 32 Ohms, with a sensitivity of about 105dB.

Dec 6, 2023 · The Lina/Empyrean II sounds more neutral with the Duo pads but offers the most energy and micro-detail pushing that MZ3 driver to the maximum. The Bartok, (non-APEX 2.0), brings back a slightly warmer weightier tone to the Empyrean II and compared to the Lina combo has a more relaxed level of energy.
