So recently I've been able to sit down and really take a listen to the new Meze Empyrean II's. I own a pair of Elites, but they are always been a little bit spicy in the high end (~15K) for some tracks, and I wanted to know how the new-commers would compare.
I thought it said "Meze Audio Empyrean 2- if Sennheiser and Audeze had a baby." It'd be funny if you saw the newer title worked better for the algorithm. For what it's worth, I'd have changed it too since I don't like naming other companies in the review title.

They are quiet similar in term of sound, but the Empyrean 2 is little bit warmer and more details. The design and build quality of the Meze is far better than the Hifiman. The Emyprean 2 is the upgraded version of the Arya Organic for me.
Nov 30, 2023 · Meze Empyrean 2 displays a good balance between the size of the stage and the scale of the sounds. This transfers to a very natural listening experience, without the music seeming inflated or artificially stretched out.
