   Neither. The Empyrean is super comfy but not particularly competitive at that price for technical performance. FR is also somewhat of an acquired taste. Diana V2 when I heard it was not as detailed as the Phi, and it also had some weirdness in the upper mids. Keep in mind that's show conditions.

For reference the HD800S' coupled with a tube amp was still too bright for me. I've heard multiple reviewers mention that some soundtracks can produce sibilance on the Empyrean 2.
