Mar 18, 2024 · Now, there are drunk teens, but I really didn’t mind. It was a wonderful read. I would recommend this to ANYONE. I read The Hunger Games and Divergent and many other young adult novels before this, so if you or your kid have read those books, you’d like this book. This isn’t dystopian, it’s mystery but it’s so wonderful.

There are pages of eye-rollingly cliched romance tropes to wade through, but it's PG stuff, and the mystery part of it is fun and engaging, and the cliff-hanger nature of the ending allows you to believe that there will be a clever reveal in the next book that ties up all the loose ends.
This was SO GOOD!👌 I DEFINITELY understand the hype now. The Inheritance Games was a twisty, entertaining mystery that I thoroughly enjoyed. “Everything’s a game, Avery Grambs. The only thing we get to decide in this life is if we play to win.” Firstly, the characters.

Apr 8, 2024 · The excitement grew when Xander's involvement in the game at Tobias' request was revealed, followed by him receiving a letter to find Toby. This left me eagerly anticipating the next book. Overall, The Inheritance Games was a solid read, although it didn't completely blow me away. Thanks for reading!

Sep 27, 2020 · So when I heard about The Inheritance Games, between him and Susan @ Novel Lives telling me I wanted to read this, I just went with it. Boy am I glad I did. The Inheritance Games is basically a Knives Out for a YA audience, with a compelling mystery filled with puzzles, complicated characters you’ll love, and plenty of twists and action!
