  1. Good concept. Great cinematography. Great screenplay, but recasting the lead would’ve been beneficial. Plus it was buried by new content by the end of the week. NETFLIX is the worst with burying any and all content days after a release. Unless you’re the latest season of “You”. Fuck that show.

  5. The King (2019) is absolutely fantastic. SUGGESTING. I watched The King recently on Netflix and I have to say it’s one of my favorite netflix originals. This movie doesn’t seem to be getting the attention it deserves. it seems as though it’s really unknown to a lot of people. The cast is quality.

  8. The King is getting compared to last year's 'The Outlaw King' quite a bit. Released on Netflix, period piece 'epic' war film, reluctant hero, etc. While certainly a fair comparison on the outskirts, I think The King deserves to be praised on its own merits, though both films are quite good.
