Jan 27, 2024 · The Space Needle is an iconic sight along the Seattle skyline, but is it worth going up to see the view? I thought it was worth it, but with one catch.
Oh definitely was worth it. Not something I would do every time I go, just something special. My mom was born in Seattle and moved away as a kid, never had a chance to go up the Space Needle. I was very happy to be able to take her up before she left us.
Nov 13, 2016 · As always, "worth it" is a personal choice. If the air is clear and the mountain is out (meaning you can see Mt Rainier), then the views are fabulous. In December, you might get one of those incredibly crisp clear days or you might get rain & clouds. If it's overcast / cloudy / rainy, then my vote is that the Space Needle is not "worth it."
