  2. Stephen King, to me, is an author who isn't a great writer but is incredibly gifted at coming up with amazing concepts. I really liked The Stand for the concepts. But I also struggled with his incessant rambling exposition. That book really needed a good editor to shave all the unnecessary exposition down lol.
