Oct 30, 2012 · So immediately, this book is a misnomer twice over: the “history” barely pays any attention to the 18th and 19th centuries, and it is less the history of the United States then of the presidency and United States imperialism. And let me just say, this book is comprehensive. Arguably to its own detriment.
