The characterizations of Elizabeth Woodville and Margaret Beaufort were both a lot harder/one-dimensional than the previous series though.

It keeps all the important storylines, condenses the ones that need condensing, streamlines storylines for the pacing needed for a tv show, and overall keeps intact the overall story arc of Philippa Gregory Plantagenet storylines.

  6. Apr 6, 2017 · Apr 13, 2017. The sets and costumes look a tad more realistic than what Disney might whip up, but only a tad. The performances are decent, although often bordering on melodramatic excess, which is to be expected, really. Watching Davis and Fairley compete to see who can masticate more scenery makes Princess worth a look.
