How come the arcade vector graphics classic tank game Battlezone is not on any of the new consoles or compilations? It was on Atari’s Greatest Hits for iOS years ago (including the 2600 port) but since then nothing. I miss it!

In the 1980s, Battlezone was ported to the Apple II, Atari 2600, Commodore 64, VIC-20, IBM PC compatibles, ZX Spectrum, and later the Atari 8-bit computers and Atari ST. The ports to non-Atari systems were from Atarisoft .
Aug 22, 2023 · Battlezone was one of the better 2600 games. I hesitate to say it's an "arcade port" because there's really very few similarities between the arcade game and the 2600 version. Activision's "Robot Tank" (2600) was probably closer to Battlezone than Battlezone was.
